🐾❤️ Meet RUSTY — From Feral to Finding Love! ❤️🐾

Rusty is a handsome boy approximately 2–3 years old with a story that truly touches our hearts. ❤️

Rusty came to KPP Rescue completely feral, with very little trust in humans. But with time, patience, love, and the dedication of his wonderful foster mom, he is slowly discovering just how wonderful life can be! 🥹🐶

Of the feral dogs we’ve been working with, Rusty has made some of the biggest strides! His foster mom can now touch and pet him, and he’s actually enjoying spending time with her! ❤️

For a dog who once wanted nothing to do with human contact, these are HUGE milestones! Every little step forward is a reminder of what love, patience, and kindness can accomplish.

Rusty is still learning to trust, and he will need a special family who understands his past and is willing to give him the time and patience he deserves. We know that somewhere out there is someone who will see the amazing potential in this sweet boy and give him the loving forever home he’s never known. 🏡❤️

🐾❤️ More Than Just a Pet Resort… We’re Family! ❤️🐾

I wanted to take a moment to share something that is very near and dear to my heart — Renaissance Pet Resort & Spain Banning, California. 🐶🐱

As many of you know, I have the privilege of being part of the Renaissance family, and I can honestly say that this is so much more than just a job to me. It’s a place filled with people who truly love what they do and, most importantly, love the animals entrusted to our care.

One of the things that makes Renaissance so special is the relationships we build, not only with the pets but with their families, too. ❤️

We have clients who have trusted us with their beloved pets for years. We’ve watched puppies grow into adults, shared in their milestones, celebrated their birthdays, and watched their personalities blossom. We’ve also held back tears when we’ve had to say goodbye to some of our precious longtime guests. They truly become part of our extended family. 🌈🐾

Every dog has a different personality. Some come running through our doors, tails wagging, excited to see their favorite people and furry friends. Others need a little extra patience, reassurance, and love. And that’s okay! Our team takes pride in getting to know each pet as an individual.

Being involved in animal rescue through Kathryn’s Precious Paw Rescue has only deepened my appreciation for people who dedicate their lives to caring for animals. Whether it’s a rescued animal learning to trust again or a beloved family pet spending the day with us, every animal deserves kindness, patience, and love.

💛🐾 OUR SWEET SENIOR KIERAN IS BACK IN THE INLAND EMPIRE! 🐾💛

Kieran is back with his foster, and now we need to get our sweet senior boy into the vet for a good checkup.

He needs blood work, updated vaccines, and we also need to have a lump checked that has come back after it was previously removed. We’re praying it’s nothing serious, but we definitely need to find out what we’re dealing with. 🙏

As many of you know, we recently spent a significant amount trying everything possible to save our precious Leo. I even took out a Scratchpay loan because I wasn’t going to give up on him. 💔 So many of you donated toward Leo’s care, and we can never thank you enough for helping us try to save him.

Now we could really use some help getting Kieran taken care of. ❤️

I know I haven’t posted very much lately, and I wanted to share a little bit about why. ❤️

The last few weeks have been incredibly difficult. Losing my dad, David, so suddenly and tragically, losing our precious Leo the very next morning, and then losing another very special kitty at Renaissance…it has honestly been a lot for my heart to carry.

I’ve needed some time to grieve, to process, and just to figure out how to take that next step forward.

But I also know that I need to find my way back to something that brings so much happiness and purpose to my life — these precious babies. 🐾❤️ They still need us, and I still need them. So little by little, I’m finding my way back.

And what better way to do that than with an AMAZING ZIGGY UPDATE!! 🥹🐾

After Ziggy’s knee surgery, he just did NOT want to use that leg. We were worried, but his incredible fosters never gave up on him. They have worked so hard with his physical therapy, encouraging him every step of the way…and LOOK AT HIM NOW!! 😭❤️

He’s walking slowly, putting weight on that leg, and making such wonderful progress! Every little step is a HUGE victory for this sweet boy.

I cannot thank his fosters enough. This is what fostering is all about — the patience, the commitment, the love, and sometimes literally helping them learn to use their little legs again. ❤️

And we have even more exciting news…

ZIGGY WILL BE READY FOR ADOPTION SOON! 🎉🐾🏡
