That’s a wrap on detection training in Australia! 🇦🇺🐾
Throughout the training, we looked beyond the final response to better understand how the canine learns, works through uncertainty, and uses odor to solve the problem. Building clarity and confidence while giving the canine room to think was at the heart of our work.
I also had the pleasure of working alongside some amazing instructors who share a similar passion for the craft. Not only was I there to teach, but I was afforded the opportunity to be a student as well. Watching others teach, listening to their perspectives, and seeing how they approach training was something I truly enjoyed. There is always more to learn, and I’m grateful to have shared that experience with them.
Thank you to everyone who came with an open mind, asked questions, and shared their knowledge. I’m leaving grateful for the connections and everything I learned along the way.
Teach the canine how to learn and the world is yours.
