Lola's litter is growing and they still enjoy their nest box. We see them out every now and then but for the most part they like staying in the box.
4 chestnut and 3 blacks. All are so healthy and sweet.
Lola enjoys having her neck scratched when we check on everyone and once she looses that sweetness we'll know shes ready to wean her kits. She's a grumpy girl unless she has small babies nursing on her. She is a very good mom despite her mood swings and Charlotte really likes her!

Can you count the number of kits in this nest box? Blaire's litter is doing really well, but slightly smaller than the other 2 litters. There is a price of being so prolific.
No lack of color from Blaire and Squirmy! Can't tell what we have for boys or girls yet, but we'll figure it out in the coming weeks.

Red's 2 kits are fat little fluff balls and decided the nest box was where the uncool kids hung out. They were out more than in anymore so we took it out and replaced it with a resting mat. However the white one prefers to sleep on his mother 😄
These kits are growing at a crazy speed and I ordered a food scale so we can chart growth from week to week.

Update on Red's litter
She has 2 kits that are very big! Easy to be when theres no competition for faucets.
The white is a boy, the other a girl. We thought it was black but it is developing brown undertones so we have to look up what that could be.

Charlotte is looking forward to helping kids with their market rabbit projects this year!

We need to get a pick date scheduled for the end of June so kids can choose their rabbit 🐇

I'm thinking June 25th or 29th about 6 pm.

Charlotte can give a demonstration on showmanship and market showing to help those who have questions.

Some very cute bunbuns that are growing like weeds. Charlotte would like to take a pen of 3 to fair.
Pens of 3 are typically from the same litter and if possible the same color. Both Blaire and Lola have the potential for a pen of 3 but it will largely depend on who is left from kids picking their rabbits.
Cant wait to see how they grow!

3 litters all born on the same day and the size difference is crazy!!

Red's litter is down to 2 but even on day one these kits were huge!

Lola still has 7 and they're growing nicely! Not as big as Reds but steady growing.

Blaire is back to raising 10 because Silver's kit passed. All of hers seem to be gaining evenly and doing well.

By the time these reach 4 weeks we will start weighing them weekly to see how they're growing.
