We aren’t the only ones grieving the loss of our sweet boy. Honey is missing her best friend too. She spent half of her life with him, and Butters spent every single day of his life loving her.

The house feels quieter now. She looks around for him, lays where he used to, and you can tell she knows something has changed. I truly believe she knows he crossed the Rainbow Bridge, and I also believe she knows he’s never really left her.

I’d like to think he still runs beside her, still watches over her, and still waits for the day they’ll be together again. Until then, she’ll carry his love here with us, just like we will.

Grief isn’t only felt by the people who loved him. His sister is grieving too.

We all miss you so much, Butters. Keep watching over your family, sweet boy. We’ll love you forever. ❤️🐾🌈
