We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, horse-savvy Barn Manager to join our welcoming 15-horse facility tucked away in a peaceful setting.
This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely loves horses, takes pride in exceptional care, and is willing to work hard, pitch in, and do whatever needs to be done to help the barn run smoothly. We are looking for an independent, self-motivated person who works well with others, enjoys collaborating with volunteers, and values being part of a positive, team-oriented environment.
This position is ideal for someone seeking more than “just a job.” We are hoping to find the right long-term fit — someone looking for a meaningful opportunity to settle in, grow with us, and become part of a supportive barn community.
Responsibilities may include:
• Daily horse care, feeding, waters, turn out, etc and overall barn/volunteer management
• Willing to do the hard work when necessary: mucking stalls, waters, etc
• Working alongside volunteers and helping maintain a safe, organized environment
• Step in where needed with a positive, can-do attitude
Timeliness and dependability are essential — being on time, reliable, and accountable is a critical quality for anyone wishing to be considered.
Opportunity to teach riding lessons, run camps, programs, and more, depending on experience and interest.
Position may be part-time or full-time, depending on the individual and experience. Housing on the property may be available for the right person. Solid references required.
