We know we’ve got a great person up front when almost all of our calls and texts start like that 😍 (even if it’s not Corey who answered! But let’s be real… he’s usually your guy!) it makes a difference when you walk into an office and you are greeted with a smile and maybe some conversation! We are SO EXCITED TO CELEBRATE 2 YEARS with him 🎉🎉

🎉 Happy Birthday to the wonderful, amazing, talented, and dedicated Dr. Walsh! 🎂

We appreciate Dr. Walsh every single day for the incredible care and compassion she shows to her patients, but since today is her day, it’s time to celebrate her a little extra!

Over the years of working with her, I have never known a doctor who is more compassionate or who cares for her patients quite like she does. Her dedication, knowledge, and genuine love for the animals in her care are truly something special, and we are so lucky to have her as part of our team.

Dr. Walsh, we hope today you are spoiled beyond measure and reminded just how appreciated you are. It’s what you deserve!

We are so excited to welcome Dr Leite to Austin!!

Welcome Dr. Thalita Leite

Dr. Leite joins our Austin team after completing her three-year residency with ECFA in California and Chicago. A South Florida-born native, she has done a bit of traveling in her veterinary career. She attended Ross University and North Carolina State University for her veterinary training. After which she moved to the “Horse Capital of the World”, Lexington, Kentucky, where she completed an equine internship. She then completed a small animal rotating internship at MedVet in Chicago. She looks forward to connecting with the Austin area and providing care in English, Portuguese and Spanish.

Double the trouble, double the cuteness!! 😍❤️

This month we have a DOUBLE FEATURE for our Pet of the Month!!

August is featuring two brothers: Hank and Luka 👏🎉🐾

We love when one or both of the boys come to see us. Hank is always a perfect gentleman and Luka is a little more energetic (even tries to help with his notes!) but they are perfect together.

Their parents shared some great summaries:

Hank 🐾

Hank is our 11-year-old French Bulldog and, without question, the best boy. He loves car rides, popcorn, French fries, and pretty much any adventure—as long as Mom and Dad are coming too! He may only be 25 pounds, but he's convinced he's the size of a Great Dane. Hank has the sweetest personality and has never met someone he didn't want to be friends with. If you ever get the chance to meet him, you'll quickly see why everyone falls in love with him.

Luka 🐾

Luka is our 8-year-old English Bulldog, and we adopted him from Austin Bulldog Rescue four years ago. From the moment he came waddling into our lives, he fit right into the family. Luka has never met a stranger—or a meal he didn't like! He may be built like a bulldozer, but he's truly a gentle giant. He's wonderful with people, kids, and other animals, and he's always ready to make a new friend.
One of our favorite things about Luka is that he never forgets where the treats are. There's a photo in the folder of him standing on his back legs at the vet's office, checking the front desk to make sure no treats were being hidden from him. It's a perfect snapshot of his personality!
We're so thankful to have these two goofy, lovable boys in our lives!

Some of you may have seen Dr Shifrin before the Far West office opened! Lauren and Dr Walsh worked alongside him for 2 years before moving to Far West and he was the absolute best!! He was an incredible doctor and we are really going to miss having him down the road. Enjoy retirement Dr Shifrin!! You earned it!

Today is Dr. Shifrin's last day before he begins his retirement! 🎉
It has been an absolute pleasure working alongside him over the years. His kindness, dedication, and compassion have made a lasting impact on our team and the many clients and patients he has cared for. He will be deeply missed by all of us.
While change is never easy, we couldn't be happier for him as he begins this exciting new chapter. We wish Dr. Shifrin a retirement that is filled with happiness, relaxation, and countless new adventures.

Join us in giving him a big round of "a-paws" as we cheer him on to all the wonderful adventures that await! Congratulations, Dr. Shifrin!

Happy 4th of July from Tina! 🎉🎆

Tina is our Pet of the Month for July 😍

Favorite Toy: Socks and squeaky balls
Favorite fruit: Watermelon
Favorite snack: anything edible

She loves cuddling next to her mom and napping all day! But when mom isn’t home she’ll gladly cuddle up next to her brother or big little sister (even to their disdain).She gets feisty when her meals or daily walks run late! When her eye sight was better she loved bird watching but now she enjoys bird listening. She loves playing in the water and swimming anytime she gets the chance! Even though she’s an older lady, she enjoys being babied by everyone!

Maggie celebrated her 17th birthday with us today! 🎉🎉 We are so excited to share this big day with her ❤️ Maggie had that eyelid growth removed today but first, we celebrate! She is still quite a sassy lady at 17, and we love her for it 😍HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAGGIE! 🎂🥳🎈
