When you think you are ready to buy a pup from whatever kennel it is you are buying from think about this instead of asking them if there is a cheaper option or why do you charge that much.

For us it takes 3 bags of kibble per 1.5wks($145) not including their raw diet.
The amount of time it takes whelping a litter whether it’s 1 pup or 13 pups
The amount of cleaning supplies it takes per week.
And the amount of time we (or any kennel) takes to get the pups trained and not to mention the biggest part them being people oriented including being with kids whether you have an infant or a teenager.
At the end of the day if you break down your time and cost in supplies and feed most people are just breaking even if you get rid of the whole litter.

And yes we don’t just bullies here. Also the home of a Bernese mountain 😂
