🐾❤️ WELCOME WEDNESDAY — 29 NEW LIVES AT STRAY HAVEN! ❤️🐾
Another Wednesday, another transport, and another 29 precious lives getting a fresh start! And every single one of these babies came into our care just THIS WEEK!
Our volunteers have been busy, our foster homes are filling up, and the work never seems to slow down. But when you see the faces behind these numbers, you remember exactly why we do it. ❤️
🚐 MEET THIS WEEK'S NEW ARRIVALS!
🐾 Ciara – A beautiful medium black Labradoodle mix girl from Montgomery County Animal Shelter. This sweet girl is still looking for a foster home!
🐾 Charlie – A Poodle mix from Montgomery County Animal Shelter who apparently brought a little attitude along with his luggage! 😂
🐾 Billy – A 1-year-old, 15-pound brown shortie from Magoffin County Shelter. Little legs, big future!
🐾 Mochi – An adorable black Basset/Lab mix from Pulaski County. Who doesn't love a low-rider?!
🐾 5 Collie/Lab Mix Puppies – Four boys and one girl from Johnson County Animal Shelter, ready for a much brighter future!
🐾 3 Teenage Pups – Two boys and one girl who were spending their lives confined 24/7 in a crate far too small for them. Their family couldn't afford to feed them, and these babies desperately needed a different situation. Now they have a chance to experience what being a dog is actually supposed to be like. ❤️
🐾 8 Border Collie Mix Puppies – These little ones arrived with ringworm, so they've got some extra healing to do before they're ready for their next chapter. Nothing a little time, treatment, and TLC can't help!
🐾 3 Doodle Mix Puppies – Two boys and one girl from Magoffin County Shelter. More scruffy little faces to love!
🐾 6 Chihuahua/Jack Russell Mix Puppies – Four girls and two boys, just 9 weeks old! Six little bundles of puppy mischief!
❤️ BUT HERE'S WHERE WE NEED YOUR HELP! ❤️
Taking in 29 dogs is one thing. Finding safe places for everyone to land is another!
We are STILL LOOKING FOR FOSTERS for:
🏡 Ciara – Our adult Labradoodle mix girl
🏡 3 Border Collie Mix Puppies – Currently dealing with ringworm, so they will need a foster prepared to follow treatment and cleaning protocols.
🏡 3 Teenage Pups – These babies have already spent far too much of their young lives in a crate. They deserve room to stretch their legs, play, and learn what love and freedom feel like.
Stray Haven provides the food, normal supplies, and veterinary care. YOU provide the safe place and love!

We are an entirely volunteer-driven rescue, and weeks like this remind us just how much we can accomplish together.
