This little guy may only weigh 8 pounds, but Amigo has a BIG personality and an even bigger heart! 🐶💕

Amigo is a 1-year-old Dachshund/Chihuahua mix with a beautiful brown-and-white coat. He's described as adventurous, clever, curious, gentle, goofy, playful, patient, resilient, snuggly, and chill — that's quite a personality packed into 8 pounds! 🥰

Amigo is also:

🐾 Good with kids
🐾 Good with other dogs
🐾 Housetrained
🐾 Neutered
🐾 Up to date on his shots

He's a wonderful combination of playful and cuddly. Amigo enjoys exploring and satisfying his curious side, but he's also happy to settle in and enjoy some snuggle time with his people. While he can be a little shy, his sweet and resilient personality shines through. ❤️

🏡 Amigo is ready for a family to call his own!

He's currently being cared for by Gracie Acres Dog Rescue and Farm in Pelzer, South Carolina. Gracie Acres has been rescuing dogs for more than 20 years and works with local shelters to save dogs facing euthanasia, while also taking in strays and owner surrenders. Their dedicated foster families help provide the care these animals need while they wait for forever homes. 🐾❤️
