🐈 OUR COMMUNITY CATS NEED A LITTLE HELP! ❤️
First, we have to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has donated pet food to us recently! Thanks to your amazing generosity, we are currently well stocked with dog food. That doesn't happen very often, and we are so grateful!
But now it's the cats who need us! 🐈
We are currently helping people feed community cats in two areas of Augusta. These are cats who may not have a home to call their own, but thankfully they have some wonderful people looking out for them.
We are doing everything we can to help feed them and get as many spayed and neutered as possible. Unfortunately, our spay/neuter fund is now completely empty, and we have a growing list of cats needing our help.
So we have two big needs right now: 🐱 Donations of dry or canned cat food. ❤️ Donations to help us continue spaying and neutering community cats.
Feeding these cats keeps them from going hungry, but spaying and neutering is how we help stop the cycle of more kittens being born into an already difficult life.
And here's another way you can help!
🎉 We will be at Augusta Top Dog this Saturday!
Stop by, say hello, and check out some of the amazing items we will have for sale! Every purchase helps us turn around and put that money right back into helping animals in our community, including getting more cats spayed and neutered.
We know we ask a lot of our supporters, but we also see firsthand just how much good your kindness is doing. Every bag of food, every donation, and every purchase makes a difference.
These cats may not belong to anyone, but that doesn't mean they don't deserve someone looking out for them. ❤️
Thank you for always helping us be that someone.

🐾 A little shopping for a whole lot of good! ❤️
We would love for all our DNA supporters to pop over and give our new page, Paws & Pearls Boutique, a follow!
What started as an idea behind prison walls has turned into something pretty special. With a little creativity, a lot of laughs, and plenty of help from our Pups in the Pen guys, we've been busy making all sorts of goodies!
From cute totes to keychains, tumblers, and more, every purchase helps support our rescue, Pups in the Pen, and our community outreach program helping families keep the pets they love.
So please give our page a follow, have a browse, and maybe do a little shopping! 😉
Every purchase has a purpose, and every bit of support means the world to us! ❤️

Meet handsome Phoenix! ❤️🐾
This gorgeous little guy just turned 6 years old, and he's officially neutered and ready for his next adventure!
Next week, Phoenix will be heading into our Pups in the Pen prison program to work on one little issue. You see, Phoenix loves his people, and sometimes he loves them a little too much! 😂 He can be protective of his family and isn't shy about letting everyone know it.
While Phoenix is wonderful with children, we feel he would be best suited to an adult-only home. Children having friends coming and going could create situations where his protective side becomes a problem, and we want to set him up for success.

Now, let's talk about everything else this handsome 6-year-old Maltese has going for him!
❤️ Completely house trained.
❤️ Walks beautifully on a leash.
❤️ Great with other dogs.
❤️ Loving, loyal, and an all-around wonderful little companion.
Honestly, Phoenix has so much going for him. He just needs a little help understanding that he doesn't have to be the family security guard! 😂
That's exactly why we love our prison program. Our handlers will spend time working with Phoenix, helping him build confidence and learn that not every visitor needs announcing!
Phoenix deserves a wonderful home where he can be loved, spoiled, and enjoy his next chapter.
Sometimes even the sweetest dogs need a little guidance, and that's what second chances are all about. ❤️

*unfortunately Phoenix is not a fan of cats...

These 2 will be available Wednesday!

❤️ Meet Dolly & Rocky! 🐾

These two adorable kittens are looking for their forever homes!

🐱 Dolly (left) and Rocky (right) are currently in foster homes and are both still under 2 pounds.

The good news is that you don't have to wait until they're big enough to be fixed to bring one home!

💕 Two adoption options:

🐾 Foster to Adopt: Bring your kitten home now and care for them until they're big enough for their spay or neuter surgery.

🐾 Use Your Own Vet: You can choose to have your kitten spayed or neutered by your personal veterinarian.

Both babies are safe in foster homes, but they're ready to find families to call their own!

🐾 PUPPY ALERT! 6 ADORABLE BABIES LOOKING FOR HOMES!

We know there are always more puppies than homes in our area, but maybe one of these six adorable little faces is exactly what you've been looking for!

🐾 3 boys and 3 girls

🐾 8 weeks old

🐾 Adorable Lab mixes

🐾 Mom is small and also looking for a loving home!

THIS IS A COURTESY POST!

These puppies are NOT part of our rescue. We are simply helping a community member in need find loving, responsible homes for these sweet babies.

We would love to see all six puppies find wonderful families where they can grow up happy, healthy, and loved!

🐶 A FEW IMPORTANT DETAILS:

❤️ Interested adopters must have an established veterinarian who can provide a reference.

❤️ Spaying and neutering are extremely important! Adopters have the option to purchase a spay/neuter voucher through our rescue to help make getting their new puppy fixed more affordable.

Adorable Mom needs a home, too!

We know puppies are everywhere right now, but that doesn't make these six little lives any less special. Every puppy deserves a chance at a wonderful home!

And even if you aren't looking for a puppy, please SHARE! You never know who might be searching for their new best friend!
