☀️🐾 It is getting HOT out there! As the summer heat turns up, keeping your furry best friend cool and comfortable is more important than ever.

Did you know that proper summer grooming does more than just make your dog look great?

🐶 De-shedding: Removing excess undercoat helps air circulate against their skin, naturally keeping them cooler.
✂️ Proper Trimming: A good summer trim prevents overheating, but remember—shaving double-coated dogs too close can actually damage their coat's natural insulation and expose them to dangerous sunburns!
🛁 Pest Checks: Regular baths and brushing help us spot hidden summer pests like ticks, fleas, and foxtails early.

Help your pup beat the heat this season! Call 856-547-8716 to book your summer grooming appointment at The Dog House today. Let’s keep those tails wagging all summer long! 💦🐾

☀️ It is getting HOT out there! 🥵 Keeping our furry friends safe and cool is our top priority during a heatwave.

Check out the tips in the attached graphic to help protect your pups from the rising temperatures. A quick reminder of the essentials:

💧 Hydration is key: Always keep that water bowl full and bring extra on the go!
🌅 Timing matters: Stick to early morning or late evening walks when the sun isn't as fierce.
🐾 Pavement check: If the sidewalk is too hot for the back of your hand, it's too hot for their paws!
🚨 Stay alert: Always watch for excessive panting or lethargy—know the signs of heatstroke.

Another great way to help your dog stay cool? A fresh summer trim! Brushing out excess undercoat and getting a shorter summer cut can make a massive difference in their comfort.

If your pup needs a cool-down session at The Dog House, give us a call at 856-547-8716 to book your next appointment. Let's beat the heat together! ✂️🛁🐾
