Today was a hot one but we still had a couple hours of fun at Petco ! Jack and Venus got to see their first event, Sammie gained even more confidence while Iggy showed off his kitty muscles in his t shirt! All of these friends are still looking forever homes! We are also still in desperate need of funds for Iggys dental and vetting for the yorkies! Have a safe and happy labor day weekend family!

🥰Welcome the newest friends at MACS! The cosmic yorkies!🥰

Orion, Apollo, Comet, Buzz, Venus and Luna are all here! They range from 1-2 years old. They will be available for adoption once they have been vetted and spay/neutered! They have been loved previously but their owner just got overwhelmed with too many! They are nervous but friendly. We will need funds to get these pups ready for a healthy, long life. If you can donate and share that would help greatly!

🍀 Update on mama Clover 🍀

Our sweet Clover has finished her last round of heartworm treatment! Now we wait another month to see if she has beaten it with a negative test 🙏. Clover has been brave throughout the entire treatment with no signs of distress or pain. She is a very brave girl. The treatment from Happy Tails Veterinary Care , along with the work her foster moms and our trainer Miss Behaving Mutts have put in, have really helped her gain some confidence! Every day we see improvement and can not wait for her to get the forever home she deserves.

Clover wants everyone to know that fostering truly saves lives and hopes her story will inspire someone to join the MACS family and help save more!

Remember our little FIV + kitty Ignatius aka Iggy?! Well he remembers all of the MACS family supporters! We come to you again for help because Iggy desperately needs a dental cleaning with a few extractions! We all know dentals are expensive for our pets but Iggy deserves the best! Sammie, a sweet 1-year-old Chihuahua looking for a patient, gentle soul to show him that the world is a safe and wonderful place. After a tough start to life, Sammie is understandably shy around new people and other animals, meaning he will thrive best in a quiet, adult-only home where he can be the only pet and open up at his own pace. Once he knows he is safe and you are his person, his true personality shines through—he becomes a fiercely loyal, loving, and playful little guy who loves nothing more than lounging on the couch, watching TV by your side, and burrowing deep under the covers. When he’s not cozying up indoors, Sammie loves soaking up the sunshine and watching wildlife outside, though he does require a securely fenced yard or leash to keep him safe. He is still mastering potty training but is trying his best!
