Meet Brunson, a 4-year-old, 10-pound scruffy blond gentleman whose most notable features are his very long wispy hip fur and his complete inability to understand the concept of personal space. Brunson is a Velcro dog to the highest possible degree. Wherever you are, Brunson would like to be there. Bathroom? He’s coming. Kitchen? Obviously. Couch? He has already arrived. If you’re moving from one room to another, congratulations—you have acquired a 10-pound shadow.
Brunson is a very good little housemate. He is housebroken, dog-friendly, and happily goes right into his pen when asked. When his people leave, he may bark for a few minutes to make sure they know that he strongly disapproves of this decision, but he settles down pretty quickly.
He loves to play fetch with toys and can jump shockingly high for a 10-pound dog. We haven't ruled out the possibility that he is secretly part kangaroo.
Brunson does have a few opinions. He does not particularly enjoy having his feet handled and may give you a gentle little nip when you're cleaning his paws. He's also DEEPLY opposed to yelling of any kind. Raise your voice and Brunson will let you know that this is not the kind of household culture he signed up for!
But mostly, Brunson is just a ridiculously cute, scruffy little guy who wants to be with his person, play with his toys, eat all the food, and generally participate in whatever you're doing.
Brunson is looking for a home where he can be someone's constant little sidekick—and where dinner is served promptly.
Brunson would be great with dog savvy kids, other dogs (he has not been cat tested but we can’t imagine he would mind), he may be an issue for folks who can’t have a dog under foot as he is a bit of a Velcro buddy.
