Update: Miss Countess made it thru the night and so did her two sweet tiny girls. She’s eating a drinking. I can not thank Kay Animal Hospital in Douglasville Ga enough there office staff and amazing Dr. Leathers are so wonderful and I’ll never be able to thank them enough. Their doctor even called to check on her and their office this morning. What a wonderful bunch. Check out the x-ray 🩻 of the baby trying to come out shaped like a U and back 1st! Look for the spine and head. οΏΌI am so grateful for my experience and knowledge. She would have never survived! I’m also grateful to my son who’s in college who helps me so much he’ll be home soon so I can finally get a nap! οΏΌ it’s very much like having newborns because it literally is you lose a lot of sleep and are terrified that every little noise is bad news. I’m so glad that she’s doing well! οΏΌοΏΌ

Status update: Countess started labor at about 7 this morning. One beautiful baby arrived but then she began to struggle. I sadly delivered a breech baby that did not make it and then after struggling some more we made the decision to head to the vet. One of her sweethearts tried to come out back 1st and a c section was decided immediately after an x-ray. We have only two babies that made it and they will not be offered. Countess is resting and doing well and so are babies. Please give us a few days to grieve and take care of two bottle, fed babies. Will Post update as soon as we can. οΏΌοΏΌ
