As the shelter fills up with dogs that have either been abandoned or unclaimed, it means long resident dogs like Samo might not make it out. He has been lingering at the shelter at no fault of his own.

Samo is fun-loving energetic boy who enjoys other energetic dogs to play with. He is great with all people. He is already NEUTERED and has had some vaccinations. You can ask the staff which ones.

Come visit with him and get to know each other better. Please do not judge anyone them behind kennel doors as sometimes don't show their best side. If another dog in the household please bring for a meet and greet to make sure it's a good fit for both.

Samo is available for immediate pull by a licensed rescue group or adoption at Paulding County Animal Control in Dallas, Ga.

Rhodes is such a fun-loving boy. He's young and has lots of s***k!

He neutered and current on vaccinations so he will be ready to go!

Rhodes does well with slow, proper introductions with new canine pals. He would love to find someone who can handle his young adult energy.

He's a great size at about 45lbs.

Good morning everyone! 🐾Here are County Animal Control in Dallas, Ga. latest guests who have recently come in as strays🙄. If you recognize any of them or know their family, please get in touch with the shelter as soon as possible. They open to the public Tuesday-Friday 12pm-4pm, Saturday 12pm-6pm, and Sunday 12pm-5pm. Closed on Mondays and holidays but can call and leave a message.

🧡Remember, the faster we can reunite these pets with their families, the better. PLEASE SHARE THIS POST AND LET'S WORK TOGETHER TO BRING THEM HOME🏡! If one of these animals might be yours, be there at 12PM. The shelter has a 72 hour stay hold, if not reclaimed they will be AVAILABLE for adoption or rescue. If you are interested in adopting any of them before stray hold is up, please call the shelter and ask about the LIST to adopt if not reclaimed.

🐾As a reminder, all pet owners should have their pets microchipped and wearing a collar with ID tags. It's the best way to ensure if your pet ever gets lost, they can find their way back to you.🐾

Neena is a sweet mature lady. She is amazing ! She sits perfectly and gives the best hand shakes. She will make someone a great companion who is not all about those puppy antics.

Come visit with her and bring the family, bring any resident dogs that are in the household and let's introduce and find her a loving forever home.

I genuinely think, anybody who dumps a dog on the side of the road deserves to be dumped straight in a prison cell. 👮💔

Abandoning a dog is one of the cruelest betrayals.
That dog trusted you. It loved you. And you left it confused, scared, hungry, and alone on the roadside like trash.

This isn’t just “giving up a pet.”
This is emotional cruelty.

If you agree that dumping a dog should have serious legal consequences, drop a ❤️

Alrighty everyone...
We walked into 55 dogs and 12 cats this morning.

And we are going into a holiday weekend. And there could be fireworks...

If you're thinking of adopting and not going out of town this weekend, please come by!! See who is here and just maybe your new best friend is waiting for you!!

And don't forget... when you do walk through the kennels, DO NOT take the dog's behavior at face value while in the cage! This place is chaotic and stressful for them. Many do not show their true self.

Really awesome dogs are lingering because they are probably barking at strangers walking by them. That is not how they are going to be in your home because your home is not anything like this environment!

We still have Poppy and her 5 1wk old pups. And there are 7 terrier puppies that will be available for adoption on Sunday.

Rescues... We know things are sealing up tight for the holiday, but if anyone can help with even one or two, it'll help so much!!!!
