🚨 HEAT ADVISORY: Keep Your Pets Safe! 🚨
With a heat index of over 105°F, it’s dangerously hot out there—for both people and pets! Please take these important steps to protect your furry family members during this extreme weather:

🐾 NO hot pavement walks! If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws. Walk early in the morning or after sunset.

🐶 NEVER leave pets in parked cars, even for a minute. Temps can skyrocket in seconds—cracking the window doesn’t help and keeping the car cranked does not ensure the AC will continue to run effectively.

💧 Plenty of fresh water is a must! Keep bowls filled and shaded. Add ice cubes for an extra cool treat.

🌳 Shade & shelter are essential. Outdoor pets need a shaded area and constant access to water. Please bring them inside if at all possible.

🌬️ Watch for signs of heatstroke: heavy panting, drooling, vomiting, lethargy, bright red gums. If you notice these, get your pet to a vet immediately!
