Had to lay down the law! 💪🏾
Kong had to attend today’s “Walk & Talk” session after catching a little attitude! 😌

One thing about large monitors — even the sweetest animals can have moments where they feel territorial, overstimulated, or overwhelmed. Kong has worked countless educational events with children as young as 2 years old all the way to adults, and he’s usually a giant puppy dog… but respecting animal body language ALWAYS comes first.

A calm walk, patience, trust-building, and understanding their boundaries go a long way. Remember: when working with wildlife or large exotic animals, never get too comfortable just because they’re sweet. Watch for stress signals, respect their space, and always handle with caution and confidence 💚

Today’s lesson? Sometimes your giant lizard just needs fresh air and a pep talk 😂🐉

These are rainbow shrimp (Neocaridina davidi), and they stay BUSY — eating algae, polishing plants, and somehow still looking this good 😤

Fun fact: each color morph was selectively bred, which means every shade you see took YEARS to perfect 👏

Just a day well spent soaking up ranch life 🐎✨Getting to hang out with these beautiful souls never gets old — each one with their own personality, energy, and story. Moments like this are why I love what I do… building trust, learning, and just being present 🤍

Still can’t believe this was hiding under a mountain 🤯✨
We went deep underground at Ruby Falls and it honestly felt like stepping into another world 💧⛰️

Fun fact: Ruby Falls is about 1,120 feet below the surface and the waterfall itself drops 145 feet, making it the tallest and deepest underground waterfall open to the public in the U.S. 🇺🇸🌊

The walk through the cave, the lights, the sound of the water… everything about it was unreal. Definitely one of those experiences you don’t forget 🖤

So grateful we got to explore this hidden gem together—memories like this hit different 🥹✨
