Happy new year, everyone! Things are looking up for us and we're getting closer to finally getting in our new house! In the meantime, I've revamped my services. I'm available for a few drop-in visits and walks each day and available to house sit almost every night.

Until things settle down more, I am driving for Uber and I will be working at the new Starbucks that is opening across from the Steak and Shake in Newnan. Hopefully, I'll be able to clear the Ubering off my plate soon, but I am loving the Starbucks experience. Today I was working at the drive-thru in Peachtree City and seeing all of the happy pups made me miss all of my furry buddies. Give everyone extra hugs and scratches for me until I can see them again!

I also wanted to cast out feelers to see if old and new clients alike would be interested in having a meet-and-greet get together at a local dog park once the weather warms up a bit. I know there's a nice one in Peachtree City. I thought it would be a fun way for all of my pup parents to meet each other and for everyone to finally meet all of these great faces that are in my pictures. Hi my pup parents! It has been a while since I have updated, so I wanted to give everyone a heads up. Unfortunately, my husband Eric and I have decided to go our separate ways. Until I am able to land a pet-friendly rental property I will be unable to board dogs. I am hoping to have that squared away by the middle of December to the middle of January.

In the meantime, I am happy to provide house sitting and overnight care. This does mean I will be limited to one family/night and as such my rates will increase slightly. For overnights I can guarantee being in your home from 7pm-9 am. Housesitting would be me staying in your home while you are gone, only leaving to run brief errands.

As someone with a tender heart for anything animal related, situations like this are both a blessing and a curse. This sweet was in my back yard this morning. He's a little thin, was covered in fleas, and is so incredibly sweet. My dogs immediately were stoked to have a baby. I checked with neighbors on either side and no one knew him so I'm assuming he got dumped. I've been working with my hubs about getting a puppy, so I am hoping he gets to stay. If not, I will at least make sure he goes to a good home. @ Clayton County, Georgia

Have a dog that absolutely not needy, just like this pup? While I can't guarantee that I can carry them everywhere (I have a Mastiff and several super stocky pits that visit frequently) I can promise they will get to hang out with me all day and will get tons of love.

Summer is in full swing here in the dog house. We had a great break last month and are happy to have stays for most of July as well as a few stretches through the end of the year. I've had to turn away a lot of last minute bookings this summer because I just didn't have room.

So please, make sure that you get in touch early to be sure your pup has a staycation booked while you are away! I do my best to work in my returning guests but I want to make sure everyone gets personal attention so I have to keep my numbers manageable.

This beautiful old girl is . She's my father in law's girl and is about 11 years old. She's very sparing in her affections but she has always been my friend. One of my favorite things is when owners warn me that their dog will likely be standoffish or may not warm up to me and they become some of my best buddies.

Today the hubs and my FIL are pressure washing the house, which makes her nervous. She's beeny sweet shadow all morning.
