You may have read that one of our board members passed away last month. This leaves us short, although we would like to have two more. We are moving our headquarters to North Carolina in June and shutting down fundraising and operations in Atlanta, although we will still provide grants to pet owners who apply through their participating veterinarian.

This means that if you would like to serve on our Board of Advisers, you don't have to live in Georgia. Actually, you never had to.

We'll be posting detailed information about the duties and responsibilities to our website in the next few days. They include attending our annual meeting, but you can do it via Skype.

Sad news. Our board member, Dorothy Georgina, passed away on March 1 after an illness.

We are saddened to announce that due to the grave illness of one of our board members, we have decided to postpone the Mardi Paws Masquerade Ball. We will probably reschedule in April.

We dream of a world in which all pets are loved, and no companion animal dies needlessly. We don't get the attention or donations that rescues get, but our work keeps pets with their people, and helps injured or sick shelter pets get better so they can be adopted. Please help spread the word! We are planning expansion into the Carolinas and need veterinarians to join our team of participating vets.
