I have had a huge portrait hiatus due to being in graduate school, but I knew that this kitty meant the world to , so since they were gifting me with beautiful art on my body, I wanted to give back! So here's Sparrow.

Just a couple of old girls still lookin' fine! There's something meditative about getting lost in the rendering of all of that fluffy fur!
I donated this commission for Synchronicity Theatre's Women in the Arts' luncheon. Proceeds went towards supporting women in the theater community. Happy to have gotten to draw such beautiful dogs for such a great cause! Support the arts!

In memorial of Lupe and cross-eyed Earl. I had the pleasure of knowing that big fluffy dog. The universe took her too soon. Instagram always forces me to crop images, so her toe is cut off. Glad to keep their spirit living!
