Slow, unmotivated, recalls will never work against something exciting like a squirrel, person or other dog.

If you truly want your dog to come when called you MUST practice… A LOT anywhere and everywhere

Your dog must believe you have the good stuff and your going to hook them up!

Getting your dog to choose you over the squirrel isn’t easy but it is 100% necessary!

Get to work! Want some help, there’s a free behavior quiz on our website!

Go take it so that you can find the best path to success with your dog

Sweet at home. A complete disaster the second the leash goes on.

If that's your dog, this is for you.

Your dog isn't randomly exploding outside. There are actual reasons this happens — and they ALL come down to one thing: your dog hasn't been taught how to handle the weight of daily life outside the house.

This carousel breaks down the WHY and gives you a real 4-step path to fix it.

Swipe through and then tell me — which step do you think your dog needs most?

Let's be real for a second.

When it actually counts — near traffic, at the dog park, off leash at the lake — your dog doesn't come when called.

Most people chalk it up to stubbornness. But that's not what's happening.

There are 5 real reasons recall breaks down. And the good news? Every single one of them is fixable.

Swipe through the carousel to see which mistakes you're making and exactly what to change.

Your dog isn't broken. Their recall history just needs rebuilding — and I'm going to show you how.

Food before toys — here's why the order matters more than you think 🐾

Most people grab a toy to get their dog excited before training. But if your dog is already toy-obsessed, leading with food can completely reset the dynamic.

When you start with food, you're speaking your dog's hunger language first. The toy becomes a reward they have to EARN — not a distraction they're already fixated on.

This one switch can make the difference between a dog that's locked in and ready to work vs. a dog that's spinning out before you even start.

Try it this week and see what shifts.

👇 Drop a comment — do you train with food, toys, or both?

Most people think a leash is just a safety tool. It's not.

A leash is a communication line. When used correctly, it's how you teach your dog to read pressure, respond to cues, and stay connected to you even in a distracted environment.

Most dogs pull because their owners were never taught how a leash actually works. Watch this.

Just because we're talking about your dog doesn't mean you truly understand your dog.

We project human emotions onto our dogs all the time. We assume they're guilty. We assume they're being stubborn. We assume they understand fairness.

But here's the truth — dogs don't operate on human logic. They operate on consequence, clarity, and consistency.

Once you understand that, everything changes.

🐾 Save this and share it with someone who needs to hear it.

The paper plate recall drill changed everything for us.

Most people try to call their dog and then chase them when they don't come. That just teaches your dog that recall = a fun game of keep-away.

This simple drill builds a rock-solid recall using nothing but a paper plate and some food. Watch what happens when you make coming back to you the best thing your dog can do.

If you can't get your dog's attention, everything else fails.

This is one of the most common problems I see — and it's not the dog's fault. It's about how attention is being built (or not built) in the first place.

In this video, I show you exactly why your dog tunes you out and what to do about it.

Attention is the foundation. Build it right. 🐶

Your dog is "closely related" to wolves — but that doesn't explain why he acts the way he does.

In this video, I break down what the wolf ancestry myth gets wrong and why understanding your dog as a dog (not a wolf) is the key to actually training them.

When we stop trying to dominate and start trying to communicate, everything changes. 🐶

Watch this one — it'll shift the way you see training forever.

That white part of your dog's eyes you keep seeing?

That's called whale eye — and it's one of the clearest stress signals a dog can give you.

If your dog keeps glancing at you and showing the whites of their eyes, they're not being dramatic. They're telling you they're uncomfortable.

Here's what most people miss: stress signals happen BEFORE the growl. BEFORE the snap. Your dog has been communicating the whole time — we just haven't been taught to listen.

When you see whale eye:
👉 Stop what you're doing
👉 Give them space
👉 Don't lean over them or force interaction
👉 Let THEM decide when to re-engage

See it. Respect it. And your dog will start trusting you a whole lot more.

Drop a comment with your city and your dog's name. Tell me what's going on and I'll tell you what I see.

Most people think dog bites come out of nowhere.

They don't.

Dogs speak in complete sentences. We just stopped listening.

This carousel breaks down the warning signs your dog gives BEFORE a bite happens — and what most owners completely miss.

If you have kids, other dogs, or anyone coming to your home — you need to see this.

Save this. Share it. It might prevent something terrible.
