❓ Question of the day: When you were looking for a Rottweiler puppy, what were you looking for?
One of the most common things I hear is, "I'm looking for a German Rottweiler puppy." 🤔 When I ask what separates a "German Rottweiler" from any other well-bred Rottweiler, most people aren't really sure. That's because there's much more to choosing the right puppy than simply where the bloodline comes from.
⭐ At DKV Rottweilers, we focus on the complete package.
Our dogs enjoy over 10 acres of fenced property, including a 1½-acre pond where they can exercise and enjoy life. They have a climate-controlled facility with air conditioning during the summer and heat during the winter because their comfort and well-being matter. The investment never stops. Between premium nutrition, veterinary care, grooming, bathing, nail trimming, training, and daily maintenance, our commitment to these dogs is substantial. In fact, our dog food alone costs around $95 every day—and that's just the kibble.

We've imported outstanding dogs from around the world and carefully evaluate structure, substance, working ability, and—most importantly—temperament. Temperament is inherited. That's why we study generations of pedigrees, consistency within bloodlines, proven show accomplishments, and health clearances. We don't breed simply because two dogs can produce puppies—we breed with purpose and a long-term vision for the breed.
When you're searching for a puppy, don't base your decision solely on the words "German Rottweiler" or on finding the cheapest price. Ask questions.
✅ Are the parents health tested?
✅ Have they earned titles or proven themselves in the show ring or working events?
✅ How are the dogs raised?
✅ Are they part of the family, or do they spend their lives in kennels?
✅ What kind of lifetime support does the breeder provide?
Quality breeding requires an enormous investment of time, knowledge, and dedication. Unfortunately, many breeders cut corners, but that's never been our philosophy. At DKV Rottweilers, we're committed to preserving and improving this incredible breed.
