Prayer For Seeking Shelter and Safety For Evacuated Families
Gracious God,
We lift up all the families who have had to evacuate their homes due to the threat of Hurricane Helene. Leaving behind homes, memories, and treasured possessions is never easy, and we pray that You give them strength and peace during this uncertain time. Guide them to safe and secure shelter, and provide for their physical and emotional needs as they wait for the storm to pass.
We ask that You bring comfort to families, especially children, who may feel afraid or confused. Calm their hearts and remind them that You are with them, no matter where they are. We pray for protection over their homes and belongings, that they may return to find everything intact. If there is any loss, we ask for Your provision and grace to restore what has been damaged.

Lord, as these families seek refuge, help them to also find refuge in You. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds. Let them know that they are not alone, but are held in Your loving hands through every moment of uncertainty.
