Life update... Many of you know, some of you don't, that my dad had a stroke on January 30 and spent the next 36 days at Grady Memorial in Atlanta before being moved to hospice and then going home to be with Jesus on March 6 of this year. I hit the pause button on everything in my life on that day in January. I spent every single one of those next 36 days at Grady with my dad and both days that he was in hospice. Dad being sent to hospice after all that time came as a bit of a shock because they were working with him daily to get him to rehab but he just couldn't get better. It was a constant battle of one step forward and two steps back. I tell you all of this to explain my absence from social media and from doing events in the spring. I am grateful I got to spend those last days with my dad and grateful that I was able to stay with my mom for a little while after he left us to try and help her adjust to the new normal.

It's been hard to try to get myself back to a place of going on with the day to day, not to mention it has felt impossible to do anything extra. But I have missed exploring my creativity and helping you all design your dream hats! I'm so excited to get back on the saddle and to start making beautiful hats again. My dad was proud of me for starting my own little business and I know he'd want me to continue working on making it my dream! I'm looking forward to seeing you all at some upcoming events and ready to do some hat parties with you. Shoot me a message to get on the calendar.

Due to the rainy weather, market day in Newnan will be a little different tomorrow. Instead of setting up on the square I’ll be setting up inside JB Joyce Boutique on Jefferson St.
Since space will be a little more limited, if you are planning on coming tomorrow will you reach out to me so I can make sure I bring an appropriate amount of hats & supplies. Of course I’ll have extras for any surprise shoppers. I can also take orders via Facebook & email and deliver the hats to Newnan well because Christmas!

The weather is looking perfect for our Christmas at the Vineyard market this Saturday, November 18th from 10am-5pm. Come out and shop local and support small business owners. Santa will be there from 11am-2 and professional pictures can be made with Santa with McKayla Davis.
