I didn’t realize how much I needed to step away… until I did. ✨

As business owners, we spend so much time pouring into our businesses, clients, teams, and families that sometimes we forget to pour back into ourselves.

This trip was a reminder that stepping away doesn’t mean I’m neglecting my business. Sometimes, stepping away is exactly what I need to come back better for myself and the people and pets I serve. 💜

And being surrounded by an amazing group of women entrepreneurs who understand the highs, the pressure, and the sacrifices that come with building something of your own made it even more special.

We got up at 6am in Tulum to do what’s best for our bodies!

Someone asked me how I balance running a business and still make time for myself. The honest answer is I didn’t always. This took time.

You can’t walk into a gym day one and lift the heaviest weight. You build up to it slowly. Consistently. Same with business. You show up, put one foot in front of the other, and keep going. Some days feel great. Some days you just get through. But the consistency is what builds everything.

That’s how Royal Paws and Purrs started. Not overnight. Not in one big move. Just day after day of choosing to show up for my patients, my business, and myself.

Work life balance isn’t something you find. It’s something you build. One day at a time.

There are a lot of moments I love about being a veterinarian, but hearing a client say they’ll never go back to a traditional vet? 🥹💜

That tells me we’ve done more than provide medical care. We made the experience easier, less stressful, and more personal for both them and their pet.
