Farrah has been missing for two years on the 9th. So many are still keeping an eye out for her and reach out to check on her status. We have not found her. We miss her so much and gave it everything we had to try and find her. We appreciate all the wonderful people we met in the process that have all helped in one way or another. You helped us get through it.

Please do keep an eye out in the Flowery Branch area. Miracles do happen. Don’t hesitate to reach out any time. We are forever grateful!!

Farrah, today is ONE YEAR - 365 days since our hearts were broken by your escape. We have searched for you to exhaustion, made signs till our backs were screaming, search the missing dogs boards until our eyes were blurry, but you are so worth it!!! A full year has passed and we have adopted Jack from the same puppy mill....We wonder how well you two knew each other. :)

While Jack has our pack back to 3, we will gladly take it to 4 if you will just please come home!! We pray someone has had you and is loving and taking care of you because you are the best dog ever!! But we will never give up hope that you we will find you.

We have met some of the most amazing people during your absence who have loved you without even knowing you!!! They have donated of their time and treasure, and the goodness of their hearts, all for you! I hope you know how much you are loved and how hard we all have looked for you. The not knowing is the killer!! But if there is a silver lining to this, it is called a caring community of generous dog lovers who are now called friends!

Still crying, and still hoping and praying because miracles do happen. xoxoxoxo

Today is 10 months and 9 days since our hearts were broken and Farrah got loose. I have since learned that with puppy mill rescues you have to double secure them as they are EXTREME
flight risks, and once loose are rarely recovered. The fact that we had Farrah on a camera 8 weeks after she went missing was almost a miracle. Please, if you take your pet to the vet, make sure it is doubly secured. Ask them to let you take your dog in and bring them back out. I will never again trust my animal to someone else even if they are the vet. If something happens I would rather it be my fault than someone else's because I know this vet tech felt absolutely heartbroken herself. If you have a rescue, especially a puppy mill, know that they need extra caution.
I want to introduce you to Jack. Jack is from the same puppy mill as Farrah. He turns 3 today!! The rescue was called by the breeder to pick him up and he kindly reached out to us first! We could not have been more excited!! Yesterday we were taking Jack for his first visit to the vets. He does not yet cooperate on leash. We had a martingale collar on him with a leash, and a harness with a leash. Dan put him in the back of the SUV and was bringing the door down when Jack bolted from the car. Fortunately Dan caught him in mid air. We both think we would have died to lose another one. But these dogs I have learned, are frightened of new things and places.

Jack is helping our hearts to heal, but we continue to have cameras and feeding stations out for Farrah. We won't give up hope. We would welcome the chance to have our baby back and be a 4 dog family!!!! :). So please when you are in the area, don't stop looking for her! Maybe a miracle will happen!! She was the most amazing girl. Aside from her coming home, if we can't have her I hope she is safe with someone else loving her.

The community has been wonderful! I still pray that we can have that picnic in the park so everyone can meet Farrah! Our hope lives on while our hearts are trying to mend. Happy 3rd Birthday to Jack and Welcome to our hearts! xoxoxo Farrah!!!!

Yesterday was 8 months since Farrah got away from the vet tech. We have no idea where she is now. We thought we had her on cameras a month ago looking very thin, and have had a feeding station there every day since. Unfortunately there is no further sign of her and it has become a regular stop on the coyote’s nightly trek. If you know of people with trail cams in this area, will you please ask them to be checking them for us? Thank you!!!!

I have not wanted to say anything because it may be a fluke and we won’t see her again, but we believe we have Farrah on camera a week ago in the same place we had her coming to back in May where she went into the trap and backed out.!!!!! People have said they saw her, but we were never able to lay eyes on her to corroborate / confirm it was really her. We believe these pictures are her. First time on camera since May 28th!!!!

My reason for posting is this. I believe very strongly in the power of prayer. So many people I don’t even know have been praying for Farrah, so I am asking if you will all do this for Farrah....

Tonight when you go to bed, or whenever.....Please say a prayer that we can get Farrah to come back and are able to trap her. She has lost so much weight I am worried about her health. It would be so amazing to have her home for the holidays!!!! I want to flood the good Lord with all of your prayers.

Thank you so much for your prayers and concern!!! Xoxoxo Jan, Dan and Farrah!!! PS. I compared a picture of her from behind back in May with the most recent. That is the one that makes me think it is her by looking at the legs and tufts of hair. But you can also see how much weight she has lost!!!

I want to thank the Saturday Night “Great Farrah 🥩 Steakout” Team! I had a mild touch of food poisoning yesterday and didn’t get to do this!!! Thanks to Shannon Painter, Debbie Delong Mulligan and her hubby, and Dana Anderson Davis. We cannot say thank you enough to the entire Steakout Team. AND to Doug Mele, who graciously let us use his drive way!!!

Unfortunately we did not see any sign of Farrah.... But we won’t give up hope.

This is Gus, The BOSSY member of Farrah’s pack. I love this picture.
