Meet Poncho! 🐾

Poncho is an adorable, approximately 1-year-old white Staffy mix currently at Coweta County Animal Services at 91 Selt Road in Newnan, GA.

This sweet boy is in desperate need of a rescue pull or foster because he has some skin issues - which are very likely treatable with the right care. Poncho is neutered, heartworm negative, and has done well with the dogs he has been tested with.

He is also a foster candidate through Hearts ’n Homes Animal Rescue. If you’re able to foster Poncho, or if another rescue is interested in pulling him, please reach out. We are happy to help coordinate.

Poncho deserves a chance. We do not want this sweet, fixable boy to end up at risk because of a treatable skin condition. 💙

Meet handsome Larry! 💙

Larry is a fabulous 3-year-old Lab mix currently at Coweta County Animal Services, located at 91 Selt Road in Newnan, GA.

This sweet boy has done well with the other dogs he has been tested with, knows commands, and we wouldn’t be surprised if he is already potty trained. Larry is handsome, smart, and so deserving of a loving home.

If you would like to meet him, please visit Coweta County Animal Services Monday–Friday from 10:00 AM–4:30 PM. They are closed today for Memorial Day.

Larry is also a foster candidate through Hearts ’n Homes. If you would like to foster him and are not already an HNH foster, please fill out a foster application at www.heartsnhomesrescue.org.

You won’t be sorry — Larry is a wonderful boy! 🐾

Sweet little Star would really love to hang out in a home for a while, instead of the vet's office! This refugee from the Coweta Shelter is the latest dog Hearts 'n Homes has taken into their care. She got sick at the shelter and needed out, and we knew we had to help her. She is a little Frenchie mix girl, the product of a backyard breeder, who threw a little something something into the mix and decided to crop her ears! We just want to squish her adorable face, and I'm pretty sure if you foster her, you would feel the same way! She will soon no longer be contagious, so if you're interested in foster (Coweta and surrounding areas please), let us know. Applications on our website, heartsnhomesrecue.org.

ROSA HAS BEEN FOUND AND IS SAFELY BACK HOME!

Urgent..foster dog just got out of her yard! Foster lives on Spence St., near downtown Newnan. Street runs between Bullsboro and Jefferson...short one block street. Dog belongs to Hearts 'n Homes Rescue...name is
Rosa. She is a small, brindle pittie mix with white on chest. She is very good with people, but very afraid of other dogs, and would probably run from them...can be reactive if they get too close to her. City AC has been notified, and dog is microchipped. Please, share this to other groups and if you see her, call 917-873-7408...do not chase her. See less

Meet Ford and his brother Chevy 💙

Ford is an adorable 6-year-old little guy is at Coweta County Animal Services, and he is hoping for a cozy sofa, a warm lap, and a family to help him feel safe and loved.

His brother Chevy is 7 years old and is there with him too, and these sweet boys would love nothing more than to be taken home. 🐾
