Buttercup has always been one of my favorites due to her perfectly well balanced personality. She's confident, biddable, thinking, smart, and fun-loving. She's companionable, cuddly, and absolutely sweet. Size-wise she's right in the middle and has excellent body conformation.

And then there's buddy Rowan, so easygoing, calm, and cuddly that I can never get enough of him. He's right up there with Lotus in being the most chill puppy. He's smart, affectionate, and playful, not as confident and bold as most of the other puppies, but still holding his own very well.

Marigold is the combination of sweet and sassy! She's the little heart-stealer of the litter, poking her way into people's laps and just staying there. She's one of the smallest pups and has soulful, sweet eyes. She's very much a people dog and is easy to engage, and she holds her own very well with her littermates, sassing them around. Marigold has a medium, well-balanced personality.

Tansy is puppy #5, and she's also right in the middle size-wise, though she has a chunkier build. Tansy is inquisitive, easy to engage, sassy, and well-balanced in general. She is pretty easygoing and adjusting but has a lot of grit and loves to give her littermates a hard time!

Crazy Daisy is puppy #4! She's got her pa's wonky ear and an intense personality. Size-wise, she is right in the middle, with a lean build. She might be attention deficit at times, but she's smart as a whip. Daisy is less confident than many of her littermates, but loves on people the most, is the most enthusiastic, and is highly engageable and excitable.

Jonquil was the third born, and one of the smallest puppies. She's just too sweet! Jonquil can be calm at times, but is quickly engaged and fun to interact with. She has a well balanced, cuddly personality and soulful eyes.

Second puppy out was Clover, and he's been competing with Lotus in size ever since. This little guy is such a fun little companion. He's always right there with me, tagging along to do chores or wherever else I am. He's fearless and brave, yet biddable and eager to learn. His intense personality is going to keep his family on their toes, but his intelligence and smartness far outweighs the mischief!

Lotus was the firstborn and the biggest at birth, and so far she has continued to rank #1 or #2 in weight. She is one of the most quiet and chill in the litter and takes her time becoming engaged, often content to just sit in the shade and watch the activity. However, when she does become engaged, she easily holds her own with the other pups and loves to interact with humans. She takes after her pa the most of all the pups in that she has minimal white markings. I call her my Lotus Bud.

Week 6 puppy update! It feels like the puppies are officially out of "babyhood" now, and have entered intense toddlerhood. They noticeably became less interested in milk and more interested in food this week. The braver ones are starting to trail along to do animal chores in the morning and have met the ducks and ducklings and the baby kittens. They went for their first short car ride this week, got baths, started getting used to collars, learned how to climb steps, and so much more. Jo Duffy generously donated a bunch of enrichment toys seen in the videos, that they've been loving! This morning they weighed between 6 lbs, 8 oz and 8 lbs, 4 oz. And now it's time for individual puppy intros!

I’m so glad that I don’t have a tail for puppies to pull 😳 Ouch!
