UPDATE: She has a 90% chance of walking again, if she has the surgery. So, now we are scrambling to come up with money. It's so expensive it crazy. But, the team at https://hvsevet.com/ are amazing and fully equipped to do the surgery right. Once she has surgery, Dr. Katie will do her after care. With prayers and skilled hands, Marahlee could have her back legs back to normal.
Well, Marahlee has everyone's attention now. Its not the type attention that is positive nor what anyone wants, its a storm we will weather has a family, new friends and we will conquer!
The issue. The common issues that arise in the Pekingese happened. A slipped or blown disk, pinched nerve, losing use of her hind legs and severe osteoarthritis. The MRI is scheduled, a crate purchased and I am hoping Pappa J has her in it. Its going to be very hard to keep her in there for the next month or so.
She is blessed to have the most important people in her life for this journey. She has the best Care Team! Shout out to Rogersville Animal Hospital, the Huntsville Veterinary Specialists and Emergency, and Dr. Katie from Alabama Integrative Veterinary Services.
Dr. Katie stopped in to meet Marahlee Lee this morning. She got a Chiropractic Neck Adjustment, Laser Therapy followed by a Dry Acupuncture Treatment to help her with pain and inflammation. Marahlee was a very good girl during all the procedures and treatments. Marahlee, we got you baby girl!
