I hear this ALL the time!! Let’s bust this myth.

Having a doula actually allows your supportive partner to be just that…a supportive partner. Not a birth expert. Not a guide. Not your sole advocate. But to do what they do best- be present with you.

Have you heard someone say they don’t need a doula because their partner will be there? How do you respond?

❤︎︎ Got to check out Meredith’s new pelvic floor PT studio Mend Clinic ! If you’re in Asheville, check her out! The space is so cozy.

❤︎︎ Grabbed lunch at Liberty House Coffee and Café before acupuncture with the one and only chelseabuncher Chelsea Buncher, L.Ac who keeps me put together 🫂

❤︎︎ Then dinner 🍕with my mom Liz Gunn and hubs 🔥 Zachary Sarvis 💧 to celebrate what would have been my dads 71st birthday. I am laughing at the skeleton on the porch which is always there but adds some dark humor to that clip…
