When I was told I would be paralyzed in my back legs, I thought that meant I wouldn’t have any movement back there. So we were all surprised when my legs started moving. These are reflexes. I don’t consciously feel touch back there and cannot control the movements. This makes it extra fun for mom to trim my paw hair 😅. Also, sometimes, but not always, when I get really excited my legs will start making running motions. Though I can’t feel those legs, I do realize they are moving because it jerks the rest of my body and I can also see them moving. So, this freaks me out sometimes and I start doing backwards circles. Mom has to remind me those are my legs and to calm down 🤦🏻😅 I promise, I’m a super smart puppy most of the time 😁

Mommy must have had a heat stroke with the 102 degrees weather. She decided to “try” to make my tail look like a heart and painted my nails 🤦🏻. She says I look cute, but I’m just happy to have gotten treats from the ordeal 😋
