Old man Henry was pulled from the local pound recently and he is afraid of everything. Today was actually the first day he has wagged his tail. Update: Thank you to everyone for reaching out about Puggy. His mom actually saw the post and contacted us, he has been lost for a month, and his name is Benny! He will be reunited this evening.

It’s national dog day. Of course we got a new one-Meet Marie.
One of our fosters picked up Marie. She is infested with fleas and had an imbedded collar so deep that tissue had started growing around it. She was sedated and it was removed but she has a long recovery. If you would like to help with her care we would appreciate it.

This is Rooster. He is the first of seven puppies and their mom we are trying to trap in some rural Yell County AR woods. He was not thrilled to be the first one caught, but he is with Ms. Kim and Zee, fosters extraordinaire, now, so he’s going to be just fine. He had some of the biggest fleas on him I’ve ever seen in my life and he’s full of worms, but that’s fixable! Donate if you would like to help out Rooster and family.
