The Erie Canal Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club's inaugural specialty weekend proved to be an extraordinary experience!

Brid (Whindancer's Beloved of Poets) earned two Reserve Winners Bitch ribbons under esteemed judges. On Thursday, she stood out in a competitive class under Mr. Ronald S.F. Mahon, and at our specialty on Saturday, she demonstrated remarkable poise under Mr. Del Richards with top-tier dogs and handlers.

This accomplishment is truly gratifying for both Brid and me, as a wild little lady and a newbie owner-handler.

I am delighted to have prepared her for the shows and presented her in a manner that earned some lovely compliments from respected handlers.

As always, the camaraderie and encouragement from our Wheaten Family played a big role in our achievements. ❤️

It’s is our first day at the Erie Canal Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club Specialty weekend in West Springfield MA!
Brid started off strong with a Reserve Winners Bitch in a beautiful line up. She looked great, and I feel much more confident in the ring than I did when we started our journey together only 1 year ago!
It’s also been a year since Yogi earned his first Q in Rally. Today we earned our first NQ on a tricky Excellent level course, but the signs we didn’t skip, yogi did very well. lol

Wonderful day in New Paltz at the Shawangunk Kennel Club dog show. Brid (Whindancer’s Beloved of Poets) took Best of Opposite in both of the Friday the 19th shows and in the second show she took Best Of Breed Owner Handler!
So proud of my smart, steady, pretty girl!!
