Fuzzy Wuzzy first came to the shelter as a kitten in 2018. From the very beginning, he greeted every volunteer and potential adopter with love, but somehow, he was always overlooked. Today, that finally changed — and what an awesome day it was! Fuzzy Wuzzy went home to start his new life with former alumni Sandy. Congratulations, Fuzzy Wuzzy and Sandy!

Benny, affectionately known as Mr. Ben, came to the shelter after a difficult life on his own. Before arriving, he had been living in a barn, where he endured many cat fights, painful wounds, and severely matted fur. He was understandably cautious at first and needed time to learn that he no longer had to struggle for safety, food, or kindness.
With patience, compassion, and consistency, one of our dedicated volunteer families spent extra time helping Benny feel safe and begin to trust again. Their care made all the difference. In time, Benny not only opened his heart—he found his forever family with the very people who helped him heal.
Today, Benny is living his best life in a loving home, surrounded by the comfort and security he always deserved. His journey is a beautiful reminder that time, patience, and lots of love can change everything. We are so happy for Mr. Ben and his wonderful family!
