Happy 17th anniversary to Twilight Farms ! I started this business with one little Arabian gelding and since then we have been the home to hunters, jumpers, eventers, trail horses, therapy horses and dressage horses. I have one mare that has been here for 14 years. Through the years I have been taught so many valuable lessons by these wonderful creatures! You don't have to ride a horse to learn from them! When they come here they become "mine" and are treated as such. Years ago I adopted out Toro to an acquaintance but then heard that he was being given away. I took him back plus his best friend because we all know what can happen to the old guys who are given up for free. I have said goodbye to so many and every one of them has taken a piece of my heart with them. I have been with each of them as they have said goodbye, letting them know everything will be ok.
Of all the things I have accomplished this makes me the happiest and the proudest. I have to thank all of my clients for trusting me with their equine friends. None of this would be possible without my husband who is the best unpaid worker ever!!
