This was from April 3, 2020, during COVID restrictions, when most non-essential retail stores in California were closed to normal in-store shopping.

During COVID, I offered what I called “out-the-door service.

If you come to my store, you will not be able to come inside. I offer what I call “out-the-door service.”

Tap on the door to get my attention.

For supplies, tell me what you want and I’ll give you the total price. At the door, hand me your cash or credit card, and I’ll hand you your order out the door after I open it, lol.

For fish, tell me what you want and I’ll take a picture or video of the fish and show you.

If I don’t have what you want, I will special order it for you. I’ll also try to match or beat any advertised price. Most of the time, I can beat that price by a dollar, which means you usually won’t find it cheaper than here at Fin-Tastik. So I don’t want to hear anybody whispering, “Let’s go to the big box store, it’s probably cheaper,” because most likely, it’s not.

I used to wonder why people looked at me, shook their heads, and made those funny faces. Then somebody took my picture and uploaded it here. When I saw it, I was shocked… I’m a lot better looking than I thought, and I’ve barely got any wrinkles. Now I’m starting to think those people weren’t judging me… they were just stunned. What do you think?
