North Central Newfoundland Club Welcome to The North Central Newfoundland Club! NCNC serves Newf lovers in Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, and Eastern Iowa.

We are dedicated to preserving and protecting our wonderful Newfoundland dogs, as well as to savoring our daily lives with them. The North Central Newfoundland Club, Inc. (NCNC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting the Newfoundland dog. The club promotes this goal by organizing and sponsoring dog shows and working trials, including annual water and draft tests and a

Regional Specialty. Open to families and individuals who enjoy working and playing with their Newfs, we also provide plenty of fun and educational activities throughout the year including water and draft workshops and several annual parties. All this information can be found in our Newf News newsletter which is published every other month. Founded in 1970, the NCNC now boasts over 200 members. We encourage members to attend quarterly meetings where we discuss club business and plan forthcoming events. These meetings are also a great way to meet other Newfie enthusiasts and to take advantage of the wealth of knowledge our club members have gained over their many years working, playing with, and caring for their Newfoundlands.

What a day! We had a ball rolling down the parade route with our Newf crew! Draft carts as boom boxes, leg warmers and chains. The 80’s came to life and the Care Bears had a ball dishing out the pets and love!

WATER TRAINING SEASON IS HERE!

Kick off the season with us on Saturday, June 13th in Morris, Illinois for a fun "Born to Swim" Water Workshop with 2 great sessions!

If your Newf has never been in the water, no problem! Sign up for the morning session, "Newbie Water Acclimation".

Has your Newf been acclimated but still a beginner? Super! Sign up for the afternoon session, "Beginner Water Work". We will practice beginner skills that are part of the new NCA Beginner Water Dog Test!
