🎉 Meet Louie! 🎉

Three years ago, Louie underwent surgery for an osteosarcoma affecting one of his ribs. The mass was successfully removed, and his chest wall was reconstructed during this complex procedure.

Today, we are thrilled to celebrate Louie’s 3-year anniversary and this incredible milestone! ❤️🐾

This achievement would not be possible without the dedication and love of Louie’s wonderful family, as well as the skilled anesthesia and surgery teams at CVSS Hunt Valley. A special thank you to Dr. Jeyakumar and Dr. Arnold for their role in Louie’s care.

Bodhi 💛 At just 9 months old, this sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniel reminded us how quickly curious puppies can get into trouble. In his case, an acorn 🌰 became an unexpected “snack” that lodged in his small intestine and caused a serious blockage.

Dr. Burgess (pictured) performed the surgery to remove the acorn, and we’re thrilled to share that Bodhi recovered beautifully. He’s now back to running, playing, and enjoying life — hopefully while leaving acorns on the ground where they belong 😉🐶✨

We’re so happy to see him thriving again. Here’s to many more safe and happy adventures for Bodhi 💙

Miss Daisey Rose is officially on the mend! 💗

This tiny sweetheart just completed her recovery from medial patella luxation (MPL) surgery with Dr. Moore, and she’s feeling fantastic. She loves being held like a baby and soaked up every cuddle during her stay — and our technicians fell completely in love with her gentle, snuggly charm.

We’re so happy to see her back to feeling her best and ready for her next adventure.

At 14 years young, Raiden is proving that age is just a number ❤️

In December 2025, Raiden underwent surgery with Dr. Sakthila Jeyakumar at CVSS Hunt Valley to remove a massive thymoma located dangerously close to the great vessels of his heart. The procedure was extremely delicate and challenging, but Raiden fought through surgery and recovery like a champion.

During his hospitalization, his devoted family visited him every single day, cheering him on every step of the way.

Today, we are thrilled to share that Raiden is doing great! This spring, he even went hiking in the mountains of Maine with his family 🏔️🐾

At his most recent recheck, he continues to do very well, and we could not be happier for him and his family.

Stories like Raiden’s remind us why we do what we do. Thank you to his family for trusting us with his care and for sharing this wonderful update with us!
