Excited to welcome TimberNook Collin County to Buckley Farms. They needed a new place to run their outdoor play camp and it turns out, we have some extra land to share!

Timbernook's mission is restoring the vital role of outdoor play in childhood. Go check them out and snag a spot for your kid at camp!

Barn Help Wanted – Ride/Lesson Exchange Opportunity 🐴

Looking for dependable barn help in exchange for rides/lessons!

Requirements:

Must be able to competently halter, lead, and safely tie a horse using a quick-release knot.
Must be willing to groom & bathe horses, clean tack, do general barn chores.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Bonus points if you can confidently:

Saddle and unsaddle horses (properly)
Exercise ride horses independently (confident WTL riders that know leads & and can ride sensitive/feely horses)

Exchange Rate:

3 hours of work = 1 ride/lesson

Great opportunity for someone wanting more saddle time, horse experience, and hands-on learning around the barn! PM for details.

Cherie offers equine bodywork therapies including acupuncture,applied Kinesiology, muscle trigger release and body structure adjustment 💆🏼‍♀️

We’d love to congratulate Rebekah Hernandez for officially accepting the role of Barn Manager for Buckley Farms! 🐴✨

Rebekah has been a valuable part of our team for years, first joining us as a client and later stepping in to help with lessons and day-to-day support around the barn. As Buckley Farms has continued to grow, the coordination and care required to manage a busy show barn full of horses and clients has become more important than ever.

Rebekah’s attention to detail, strong work ethic, and genuine passion for horse care make her the perfect fit for this role. She always puts the horses first and consistently goes above and beyond to make sure things run smoothly both at home and at the shows.

We are incredibly excited for this next chapter and grateful to have someone so dedicated helping lead the day-to-day operations of Buckley Farms. Please help us congratulate Rebekah on this well-deserved opportunity! 💙🐎

Katie Galloway on her filly Sannman Poppy Girl were 1st in the Non-Pro Derby Herdwork, 2nd in the reining, & 2nd in the Cow Work earning them a 2nd Place Finish overall in Derby! 🥈

Lily Quick on her mare Chiquitas Gotta Run were 1st in Show 1 & 2 in the Youth Cow Horse 🏆

Raine Buckley on Ruf Draftz (Abigail Harper Christie were 1st in the Non-Pro Two Rein 🏆

Mae Wood & Clever Son Ofa Mitch were 8th in the Youth Boxing at their first NRCHA show! 🏅

Hailee Collins on her c**t, Twisted Cattack, Kerry Simons Watson on her filly Miss Metal Cat, & Jess Thuma on Hot Hollywood Sioux competed in their FIRST NRCHA show. The goal was to just go show and figure out how it all works and they did so good.
