Pup-update for our handsome boy, Miyuki!

Not all poodles hold their color—and that matters in doodle breeding. Poodles with “non-fading” genes are specifically selected to keep their deep reds, apricots, and chocolates instead of lightening as they mature.

As breeders, using non-fading lines helps us produce doodle puppies with a better chance of staying rich and vibrant in color long-term. Genetics are never 100% predictable, but pairing with a strong non-fading poodle is one of the best ways to stack the odds for those deep, lasting coats families love.
