Wilson is looking for his next lessor for next show season and 4-h season. He is a sweet, sensitive and willing to please guy but he does require someone who knows how to ride and help him along. He is a 7 year old AQHA gelding. Wilson does well in showmanship and pattern classes. He rides both western and English but I would love to see someone show him more hunter under saddle than western. He can w/t/c nicely but needs more cantering work as his last lessor was just w/t. The lease will require lessons with me to make sure he is improving his training. Richie is looking for a partial lease of two days a week. Typically Friday and Saturdays but can be flexible. He will be exclusively offered to a kid or adult already in my lesson program. If a kid will have first rights to show him next year at shows and 4-h. Richie is walk/trot only and is a steady eddy kind of guy. He loves to go out on trails but will work in an arena too. He wants to please his rider and is a great confidence booster. If interested send me a message and I can tell you more about my lease program! Wakeman oh

The boys are home from the long week at fair and enjoyed being let out into the pasture for some downtime with each other. They all worked hard this week with their kids and are happy to be back home!

The girls and their boys did fantastic yesterday and today! Everyone placed in classes and most importantly had fun making memories with their horses.
Pickles has taken everything in and has been champ so far for his first fair. They even tried trail in hand for the first time ever. Today he placed second against the big draft horses in his riding class. He wasn’t so sure about why they were so big. Proud of him and his rider who handles him beautifully for being it her first year showing a horse at fair.
Wilson has placed in most of his classes and went out and did his job. He loves his patterns classes and has taken care of his rider. Proud of his rider for sticking with him and continuing to try her best.
Richie is good old faithful and loves to put on a show in the ring. He has taken care of his rider and just plots along like a good boy. They won their walk/trot draft pony class and as they were being given the ribbon Richie in all Richie fashion peed right in front of everyone 😂 (scroll through the pictures) His rider has gained a lot of confidence on him and I can’t wait to see where next year takes her on another horse
Charlie carried his girl through her first fair and has been a very good boy. They have had beautiful rides In ranch pleasure. She has worked hard with him and continues to work hard every ride.
I’m so proud of all of them for going out and doing their best! Now on to funday on Saturday!

Everyone is settled in at the fair and doing well. I think all four girls are excited for what the week brings! Can’t wait to see what their hard work will bring them.
Three of them show tomorrow for groom & clean. Wilson can’t wait to be covered in dirt for it (his specialty being a piggy)

Our Halloween camp will be the 17th and 18th! If you would like to sign up your kid message me! If you want to help out or have more ideas on some fun activities for the kids let me know! I already have some spooktacular games planned for everyone!

With October right around the corner I am planning on putting together a Halloween camp for the lesson kids! Looking at dates in October I would like to take poll of what dates work best for parents/kids interested in attending.

October 31st or November 1st

The parade was a success. Rita and Pickles were rockstars with loud tractors, cars driving by, railroad tracks and people watching the parade. We decorated both of them up as type of tractors. Pickles being a John Deere and Rita being a Ford 8N. Such a fun day and a wonderful experience for all. Thanks to Cady for joining me and riding Pickles alongside Rita and I.
