🐾 Meet Scrappy! 🐱💙
Scrappy is a sweet 12-year-old kitty who first came to see us when his mom noticed muscle weakness and limping. After an exam, Scrappy was diagnosed with diabetes in March 2026.
Diabetes is a medical condition in which the body cannot properly produce or respond to insulin, the hormone responsible for regulating blood sugar. 🩺 Diabetes can present in many different ways, and signs may not always be obvious!
Scrappy recently visited us for a blood glucose curve as part of his routine diabetes monitoring. This test helps us track his blood sugar levels throughout the day and ensure his condition is being managed appropriately. 💙
