Hope everyone had a good 4th!

Just reminding everyone that because of the holiday, no orders were processed through the warehouse Friday. Orders that were to process Friday will process tomorrow and you should start receiving shipping emails Tuesday or Wednesday.

There is no food of truly comparable quality available at this price--- even if you think the ingredient list looks similar at first glance. The ingredient deck doesn't tell the whole story.

We are always happy to explain how K-9 Octane is different from your other options in a factual, scientific way. We are aware of no other food that has been specifically formulated for optimal nutritional parameters for pregnancy, lactation, growth and performance that also does so well for seniors who need help with inflammation and maintaining overall fitness. We're proud to produce a science-based food vs a profit/marketing-based food.

ISO: Bag/Packaging feedback

Without notice, our 15lb bags have been discontinued by the manufacturer. We have been planning on all new packaging for a while now, to be unveiled with the new website, so this is as good a time as any.

Apologies to those who loved the 15lb-ers. I loved them, too.

Conversely, I hate our 33lb bags. I hate the gusseted part that makes it impossible to stick a bowl into the bag. Am I alone in wishing for a plain old bag that opens fully when cut on the top?

We are expanding more into the retail side of things and need to keep in mind that a lot of retail customers aren't feeding 10 working dogs (sad, I know). How important is a zipper/resealable top on the largest bags? On the smaller ones?

Thoughts welcome- as long as you won't cry if I explain why a particular one may not work.

WEBSITE PROBLEMS

Not sure what's going on, but yesterday's "add to cart" issue still isn't fixed and today Wix is saying that they are having messaging issues.

If you need food PLEASE EMAIL directly - not through Wix.

❗Message us at [email protected] and let us know what you're trying to order so we can invoice you directly through PayPal or QuickBooks.❗

Sorry for this huge inconvenience.
