Meet Minsc! We have been fostering him at Thundering Paws Pet Resort since June 17, so almost a month. He is a sweet young pup that acts like a teenage puppy (maybe around 10 months old). He loves to play and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He is starved for attention and gets plenty of hugs and love from all of us at Thundering Paws but he sure would love to have permanent home and family to love him. He is scheduled to go back to Humane Society of Lincoln County, Ruidoso, NM later this upcoming week and before that happens we would love to get him adopted out so that he doesn't have to go back. If there is anyone considering getting a young doggie who absolutely needs to be rescued please consider this sweet boy. We can make arrangements to have you come and meet him at Thundering Paws anytime! Call Connie at Thundering Paws at 575-454-9644 if you are interested in meeting Minsc 🐶💛

Meet Bentley 🐾

Bentley is a handsome, sweet boy currently being fostered and looking for his forever home! He was just neutered this past week. We are fostering him at Thundering Paws as a partner with American Black and Tan Coonhound Rescue.

Bentley does very well with other smaller, friendly dogs like himself. He enjoys having canine companions that match his gentle and playful personality. We have not yet had the opportunity to test him with cats.

This good boy absolutely loves to run and stretch his legs outside. Whether it’s zooming around the yard or simply enjoying fresh air, Bentley is happiest when he has space to explore and play.

Bentley is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and eager to please. Chicken jerky treats are his absolute favorite, and he’ll happily show off his good manners for a tasty reward.

Bentley would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loving, playful, and well-mannered dog to add to their family. 💙

Please contact Connie at 575-454-9644 (Thundering Paws owner) if you’re interested in meeting Bentley. 🐶💙

A year ago we were honored to partner with a rescue called American Black and Tan Coonhound Rescue as one of their NM fosters. We take these sweet doggies in that have been abandoned, neglected physically and emotionally and work to rehabilitate them and get them prepared for a successful adoption. So far we have completed 3 successful adoptions Tank, Finny and Redford. These poor babies were so neglected and we rescued them from kill shelters around New Mexico right before they were planning on being euthanized. It brings us so much joy to see the most broken down dogs run around happily and be brought back to life emotionally. Here are 3 of the sweet doggies who have been successfully adopted Tank, Finny and Redford 🐶💙🐶🩷🐶💙

We are currently fostering one right now named Bentley. Stay tuned for info on him on our next post! 🐶💙
