I saw a post from another breeder that made my jaw drop. Someone was trying to buy one of their puppies and was already looking for a way to resell that puppy before they even had it in their possession. When the breeder confronted them, they didn’t deny it. They pretty much admitted they weren’t keeping the puppy and wanted to see how much they could get for it.
So let me be VERY clear: UNDER ABSOLUTELY NO CIRCUMSTANCES will a puppy flipper be allowed to buy a Double W Doxies baby. Period.
I’ve helped breeder friends get the word out about their puppies, and I’m happy to do that. Those puppies remain theirs, and families know exactly who bred and raised them. That is completely different from buying a puppy just to turn around and sell it as your own.
When someone brings home a puppy, they deserve honest answers about its parents, their personalities, their history, and the lines behind them. You can’t speak from experience about dogs you’ve never raised or a puppy you never intended to keep.
At Double W Doxies, my babies aren’t inventory. I care where they go and who raising one of mine 🫶🏼
