We’revisiting his raiser, Beth, and having a ball!

Last week, we went to Catawba College to hear the brilliant Amy-Jill Levine.

I was walking around the house this morning, I turned around, and this greeted me.

I often tell people that Chipotle is part camel. I now have proof! This is a before and after of a half gallon bucket.

A message from Chipotle-- Air quality affects dogs too. Keep us inside unless we need to relieve ourselves. Play games indoors for exercise. Oh, and one more PSA: the pavement's hot!

The grass in our front yard is tall enough that it started to seed. I heard the lawn mowers of the landscaping company roar to life. I put shoes on, grabbed my quad cane, opened the back door and the garage. Goin’ on a pile pickup before they got run over.

Because that sequence usually indicates we are getting in the car, Chipotle didn’t want to go back inside. .

I got him to do a “go on through “and then “sit” and “stay.” I left the back door open and the garage, so he could hear me. This was the face that greeted me when I returned from my expedition.

(The blue and red fleece pull lets him “tug” the door closed. I also have tugs on my laundry basket, the interior door to the laundry room, and a plastic stool.)

Firends, I'm really thrilled to be going to this event! Have you ever wondered how SSD taught Chipotle? Curious about the training center? Want to know what else service dogs can do?

Come along with me. There is space for you!

At our Open House on May 16 from 1-4 pm, you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at how our dogs grow from puppy to fully trained service dogs. Make sure you mark your calendars!

Thank you to Susquehanna Service Dogs for another great Public Access Test. Chipotle gives me his lick of approval!
