Put simply, its a family run passion and truly a dream come true. FTH president, graphic designer, kennel technician, head baker, recipe creator, main editor, founder and passionate paw-parent of 8. I'm also the one who runs this website and all social media accounts (unless otherwise stated)! Then there's Jesse. He's my brother, best friend, roommate, treat decorator, editor, promoter, and
also Taya's dad (as well as a dad to three rescue kitties over the age of 8). His compassion for animals should set the bar for us all. Then there is Cody, my AMAZING nephew and his beautiful girlfriend Celia. They are in charge of all transporting of our animals all over the place without complaint, they perform extended promoting for us across the country, they'll be in charge of our photography sessions, and they are also devoted full-time paw-parents. That’s right. Everything you see is the product of a deeply personal vision, a lifelong dream for a unique way of helping animals, a devoted family with a love for animals, and a passion that only ignites further with each passing day. You see, we face a major issue in our lives DAILY…
We ADORE all animals and a have homes (and bank accounts) too small to save them all by ourselves (and believe me…we would save them all on our own in a heartbeat if we were somehow able to…), but, sadly (and realistically) we are not able to alone. SO...then, what’s ARE we supposed to do then when this whole issue seems so daunting, but meanwhile, un-ignorable? I came up with an idea to utilize my graphic design degree and baking skills, along with our pet savvy networks, our life-long experiences/skills in caring for (sometimes special needs) pets, AND our absurd obsessions for ALL things animals to begin our own public accessible animal rescue. PLEASE donate to our YouCaring account OR BETTER YET, purchase some pet treats for your fur babies! We are using ALL DONATIONS AND PURCHASES for startup costs, legal representation, vet bills, food for our animals, transportation costs, and general care products (such as pet beds, toys, treats, litter, leashes, cleaning products, etc.). We will also be doing once a month donations to other local pet rescues and charities as well as various fundraising events at the local dog parks, city events, and local businesses...That's a lot to raise money for isn't it?
