As you celebrate, don't forget that fireworks can be stressful for many pets. Here are a few ways to help keep them comfortable:

🐾 Keep pets indoors in a quiet, secure area.
🐾 Make sure they have updated ID tags or a microchip.
🐾 Play calming music or white noise to help mask fireworks.
🐾 Give them plenty of love, comfort, and reassurance.

It was a busy day of nail trims here at Paws at Home Pet Services! 🐾

Today I had the pleasure of helping Sitka, Willow, Farley, Forest, and Hilo keep their paws healthy and comfortable.

Regular nail trims are an important part of your pet's overall health, helping prevent discomfort, mobility issues, and overgrown nails.

Thank you to all of these wonderful pets (and their families) for trusting me with their care. I love being able to provide stress-free, in-home services where pets can stay comfortable in their familiar surroundings.

Hello! My name is Megan and I have started a business of my own: Paws at Home Pet Services. I am working on getting licensed and insured. I offer in home nail trims, a**l gland expressions, ear cleanings, sanitary shaves, mat removals and possible pet transportion services. I also offer pet sitting and dog walking. I am serving the Alexandria area and will travel to outside towns for an extra charge, which will be discussed at time of booking.

I do have a full time job outside of this business. Most of the time (unless on a day off), I am unable to do midday potty breaks or drop ins, so please keep that in mind when considering pet sitting and drop in visits with me. I also try to schedule appointments/meet and greets on Tuesdays, since that is my day off.

Since I am on my own now, there are pets from the previous business I will not be able to do any longer, and again, I am truly sorry for that. I must take my safety into consideration and sometimes pets are hard to handle on my own when I am trying to perform services.

Remember, I am NOT a veterinarian and cannot diagnose, treat, prescribe medications, perform surgery, give vaccinations, perform humane euthanasia or replace your regular vet visits.

I am also NOT a groomer and do not provide grooming services unless they are the services mentioned below.

I am also requiring proof of current rabies vaccination before any pet services will be provided, and will not provide services if it is not current. Also, a client form needs to be filled out prior to any pet services. Payment is due at time of services aside from dog walking and pet sitting. I will be accepting cash, credit/debit card and Venmo.

Nail trims: $30
A**l Gland Expressions: $25
Ear cleanings: $20
Sanitary Shaves: $20
Mat removal: Please contact me for price
Dog Walking: $20 per dog per time
Pet Sitting: $50 per night, $10 per additional pet
Pet Drop ins: $25 per visit
Pet Transport: $20
