I did not get enough pictures between helping Stetson load the table and keeping track of Elodie which is a full time job in itself! But Stetson’s group of junior shaded rabbits and his big boy, Teton, did pretty well! We have Lynanne Crippen to thank for selling us a gorgeous buck and Kerry King for selling us two beautiful does to produce some nice babies for my son to continue showing! His one Jr buck took BIV on all three tables today. He was top 5 all day in the mini Rex shaded. It’s hard to beat out senior rabbits with jrs.
Teton got DQ’d on two tables because they said his face was torted. On the third table though, he was BOB and made it to the BOS table! He did not win, but he got an honorable mention! We think he’s handsome and that’s why counts!
In the youth showmanship, Stetson got runner up and the hard luck award today because his little buck was just over being handled. He’d had enough and he was sure to give Stetson a hard time. But he muddled through and he got some good tips to take home in prep for the fair!
Lastly, thank you to the CNDRB association for putting on such a fun, youth driven show! It was amazing to see all the fun things they had for the kids!

Valley City bound! This will be Tetons debut show! Our little car is pretty full! Only bringing one Sr animal. Everything else is a junior. Hot tip… a little iodine in saline nasal drops for infants helps keep the show germs out!

I don’t give enough credit to this doe. She has been ever faithful and produced beautiful litters every time I’ve asked it of her. I think this will be her last litter for us. She has been an amazing lady, but she isn’t the direction we want to go with our program. She’s much too heavy for a mini Rex and she throws that big bone in her babies! Which the judges don’t appreciate 😅

Denalis litter is growing up! I turned their box tonight and they were gettin all frisky! Wild wild babies!

Tortoise N’ Hare has some great supplies! We got these twist lock dishes from them for the carriers. Although they are big and I think maybe mixed up the order, it’s ok! They will get used! I have them set to go with the family’s who get rabbits in the sale.

Here’s what the carriers look like. They will work for the purpose I got them for. They may break down quicker over time, but the sole purpose of these was just to have something for kids to take their new projects home from the livestock sale!
