💜🐾 Nail Trims for a Cause! 🐾💜

May is cystic fibrosis awareness month.
This month, when you book a nail trim for your dog, you’ll be helping support a cause that is very close to my heart.

🫁🧬 50% of all nail trimming proceeds in May will be donated to my Hike to Breathe fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

This cause means the world to me. Every donation helps fund research, treatments, and hope for those affected.

As Snip the Tip approaches its 2nd anniversary, this was the next step. Thank you to all of my loyal clientele for trusting me with your beloved pets.

A reminder for current inquirers, my fees are $30 with discounts provided for multiple pets homes.

Thank you to everyone who has put their trust in me. After nearly two years I’m thrilled to devote more time and travel into my business.
In response to inquires, I’d like to take a moment to post my rates -

In-Home Dog Nail Trimming Rates
$30 per dog
* In-home nail trim
* Calm, unhurried handling
* Includes dogs located on my scheduled route for the day
* Most appointments take 15-20 minutes
* I arrive with all necessary tools

Additional Dogs will be discounted.

Extended Handling / Behavior-Aware Care-
Some dogs need extra time and breaks to stay comfortable.
+ $10 per visit, depending on time and handling required.
This may apply if :
* Dog is fearful, anxious, or resistant
* Frequent breaks are needed
* Extra time is required to prevent stress and trauma.

Travel / Off-Route Visits
* No travel fee for clients on my scheduled route
* For off-route, special trips, extended travel
* +$10–$15 flat travel fee, based on distance

There are so many reasons why having someone come to your home can be beneficial—maybe your dog doesn’t travel well, you just got your car cleaned, or mobility is a challenge. Whatever the reason, it truly makes me happy to help and provide care in the comfort of your own space.

When I first met Kelly, she only had Pippin — a beautiful, big, black-faced German Shepherd. Pippin had trauma after having his quick snipped, and he was wary about letting me near his nails. It took months of patience, trust-building, and gentle encouragement, but he learned to feel safe and confident with me.

Now, Pippin is happy to be distracted with treats while I trim his toes! Gaining the trust of a dog who has every reason not to trust you is such a rewarding feeling. With Kelly’s love and determination, we were able to team up and help Pippin move past those old fears — and now he even shows his new “little brother” how easy it can be. 🙂

In response to rate inquiries, I charge a standard fee of $25 per dog, with a discounted rate of $20 for each additional dog, serving the areas of Grand Isle and Franklin County. I am open to negotiating lower rates for smaller animals. And as a reminder, my nail trimming services include all necessary equipment.
